Prof Hetzy S.K is an outstanding academician and an excellent administrator with over 20 years of rich experience in the nursing profession. She is appointed as the principal of Navodaya school and college of Nursing from June 1 2020.

She graduated from B.Sc. Nursing at Padmavathi College of Nursing Dharmapuri, under The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University in the year 1997. Later in the year 2002 she completed Masters of Nursing and specialized in the community health nursing and in 2006 she completed her M.Phil. from Manipal university

After Post graduation, she has 18 years of experience. Total of 20 years’ of including UG &PG Nursing experience in teaching, Research, and Administration. During her professional journey, she has worked as principal in various colleges from 2007.

She has also worked in the United States of America from 2007-2010.

She was an Inspection team member, The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. (2005-2007). Senate member, The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, India (2005-2007). Member, Board of Governing council, DR.GVN Institute of Medical sciences India. (2005-2007). Member, Board of Ethical clearance Committee and Institutional Review   board (IRB), DR.GVN Institute of Medical sciences India. (2002-2007).

She has authored over 40 articles and 30 presentations at state and national levels. She has been an author for over 10 publications
