A regional workshop on “Simulation based Skill Training on Basic Life Support” was organized by Navodaya School and College of Nursing, Raichur on 27/9/2022 from 8.30am to 5pm. Delegates from 11 colleges participated in this workshop with a total of 165 participants from various nursing institutions including undergraduate nursing interns, postgraduate nursing students and teaching faculties. The workshop was divided into two sessions. Morning session comprised of presentations by four resource persons with expertise, knowledge and skill on Basic life support. In the post-lunch session, Delegates received hands-on skill training on Basic Life support at Dr.N.K.Bhat Centre for Simulation and Research by BLS Master trainers. We had set four stations for skill training and hands on skill practice. We received positive Feedback from Delegates and a suggestion to organise more such workshops to enhance the knowledge and skills of various nursing related topics. The Workshop was approved by Karnataka State Nursing council, Bengaluru with 8 CNE credit Hours. The workshop was monitored by Observer from KSNC- Prof.Joseph George, Government College of Nursing, Kalaburagi.
