Navodaya School and College of Nursing, Raichur, celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2024, with the theme “Land Restoration: Desertification and Drought Resilience." GNM II year Nursing students performed roleplay, mime, and dance to highlight how to safeguard our environment. All teachers and students took a pledge to save the planet. The Principal  Prof.Hetzy  Suthanakumari delivered a speech on the importance of land restoration and practical steps for sustainability. The event concluded with a commitment to implement green practices within the institution, such as watering the plants and reducing waste. The celebration successfully raised environmental awareness and encouraged responsibility among nursing students. The programme was organized by Mrs. Poornima, Lecturer, GNM II year Class Coordinator.
